The Weeknd<\/strong>\u2018s recent social media posts and billboards seen in major cities across the world all seem to suggest one thing: the end of an era is on the horizon.<\/p>\n

Fans have posted photos of billboards\u00a0that read \u201cThe End Is Near\u201d in\u00a0Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Paris, London and Melbourne, written in\u00a0fonts representing The Weeknd\u2019s different eras. Those billboards were compiled into the one shared in\u00a0a tweet<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0posted Monday.<\/p>\n

In another post, The Weeknd shared an image featuring photos from the eight different eras of his career, starting with his album\u00a0Trilogy<\/em>\u00a0(2012) and ending with his upcoming album,\u00a0Hurry Up Tomorrow<\/em>. \u201c8 beautiful chapters in this beautiful story,\u201d\u00a0he wrote<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hurry Up Tomorrow,\u00a0<\/em>the final installment in the trilogy following\u00a0After Hours\u00a0<\/em>et\u00a0Dawn FM<\/em>, arrives Jan. 24.\u00a0The Weeknd will perform a one-night-only gig at LA\u2019s Rose Bowl Stadium on Jan. 25.<\/p>\n
