Drake\u00a0currently\u00a0has 39 awards, as does\u00a0Taylor<\/strong>\u00a0Swift<\/strong>. He\u2019s nominated in eight categories, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist and\u00a0Top\u00a0<\/span>Billboard<\/span><\/em>\u00a0200 Artist, versus Taylor\u2019s whopping 16 nods. He\u2019s also up for Top Rap Artist and Top Rap Male Artist, facing off against\u00a0Travis Scott<\/strong>\u00a0et\u00a0Kendrick Lamar<\/strong> in both categories<\/span><\/p>\n

Kendrick\u2019s earned eight nominations as well, with Top Rap Artist placing him against\u00a0Metro Boomin<\/strong>\u00a0et\u00a0Future<\/strong>, his collaborators on \u201cLike That,\u201d which is up for Top Rap Song against his own \u201cNot Like Us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Nicki Minaj<\/strong>\u00a0et\u00a0GloRilla<\/strong> represent the women in rap, with the former nominated for\u00a0Top Rap Female Artist, Top Rap Touring Artist and Top Rap Album, and Glo securing a nomination as Top Rap Female Artist<\/span><\/p>\n

As for the R&B stars,\u00a0SZA<\/strong>\u2018s nominated six times for awards including\u00a0Top Female Artist, Top\u00a0<\/span>Billboard<\/span><\/em>\u00a0200 Artist and Top Radio Songs Artist.\u00a0Tyla<\/strong>\u00a0picks up her first-ever BBMA nominations, up for a total of eight awards at the 2024 show.<\/span><\/p>\n

While\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>\u00a0has in the past been nominated for her R&B music, her\u00a0<\/span>Cowboy Carter<\/span><\/em>\u00a0album has earned her nods in the categories of\u00a0Top Country Female Artist and Top Country Album.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brent Faiyaz<\/strong>,\u00a0The Weeknd<\/strong>,\u00a0Tommy Richman<\/strong>,\u00a0Muni Long<\/strong>,\u00a0Chris Brown<\/strong>,\u00a0Usher<\/strong>,\u00a0Doja Cat<\/strong>,\u00a0Kirk Franklin<\/strong>,\u00a0Maverick City Music<\/strong>\u00a0and more were also nominated.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2024\u00a0<\/span>Billboard<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Music Awards will take place Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. ET\/PT, airing for the first time on multiple platforms. It will be available to watch on\u00a0FOX and Fire TV Channels, and on-demand on Paramount+.<\/span><\/p>\n
